Tour along the coasts from Novo to Barbate (1/2 Day)


In our Old-Timer-Jeeps we will drive from Novo Sancti Petri, past Roche, along the wonderful coast towards Conil.  Our destinations are the different beaches of the coast of Barbate. First, we will pass Roche along the Playa el Puerco until we reach the Cabo Roche. Next, we will move past the port of Conil, to the off-road route along the steep coast of Playa del Aceite, up until we reach the Playa de la Fuente del Gallo.  We will then travel along the Playa de la Fontanilla, the promenade of Conil, up to the Playa de los Bateles. From there, we will drive on the beautiful country road near the surf beach of El Palmar.  We can find enormous dunes on the Playa de Los Canos de Meca near the “Faro de Trafalgar”. It is on this point, where in 1805, the famous sea battle took place, in which the English Armada under Lord Nelsons beat the Spanish and French. After a short break, we will leave the coast for a moment to get through the “Parque Natural La Brena” to the port of Barbate. There, we will visit the museum of tuna fish.
